Yes thats my understanding, i am finishing my 2 week trial on the 8 tests pairs this week.
Then from there i should be using the top 3 going forward on a challemge.

However we need to keep the demo going to monitor the pairs as they can change weekly.

I have a week and none have closed with three open operations it reaches $1000 and it returns to $0 if it lasts the week

If I close one but at a loss I have minimum risk configured and it closed with medium risk I don’t understand

Its the time period start to end you entered into the settings.

I bought the bot a week ago, it opened 3 operations and not taking prifit, it reaches $1000 and then drops to $0, the operations only wait for it to reach the TP or SL, it does not lower the SL to ensure profit

Got it!

I started demo testing the FTMO V6.0 robots on 01/08/2024 Monday.  So far I have had 3 trades close all at a loss.  I will continue to test the robots for the rest of the week.  I will then look at the closed trade results.  If I can find one robot that closed with a profit and had at least 3 closed trades I will start trading it next Monday.  If not, I will continue to test the robots.  Each day I will look at the results of the number of closed trades with a look back period of 5 days.  When I find a profitable robot with at least 3 closed trades I will then start to trade it.  This is how I test and trade the robots.  I don’t pay much attention to the MetaTrader charts.  What I look at is the daily results as tabulated in FXblue.

As to why not use a trailing stop, Petko has found that using a trailing stop does not improve the long term performance of the robots.

If I have a larger Prop Account of $500,000 how would I utilize this new setup when it only goes to $200,000 as the maximum?

Hi Gary,

Watch the video by Petko as he explains how the FTMO app calculates the settings for a particular account size.  You can then use this info to calculate the settings needed for your account.
