structure of the account – lot size, # symbols

Hello,

I have been working with the TOP 10 EA’s and I bought a 1 year subscription.   I  started using these EA about a month ago and am now doing live trading.   last week I set up of set of EA’s that appear to be doing well.  This week I set up a new account and started a new set of EA’s

My goal is to set up 5 or 6 accounts, each with $1,000 than add funds when profit hits about 50% of balance.   The account has many symbols so, hopefully there will be 5 or 6 trades per week.

I am having an issue.  I just lost 7% of balance in 2 days.

I think it might be how to set up the symbols and lot size in a single account.   On Sunday,May 18,2025 ( 3 days ago). I created an account with the following magic numbers.

EURUSD – 371369515

GBPUSD – 1679540878

USDJPY – 2005769693

EURGBP – 2015330719

GER40 – 1633191912

NAS100 – 1620947024

US500 – 462442963

UK100 – 782702109

I did not make any changes to the accounts, except I changed the lot size to reflect a 3% balance loss if the stoploss is triggered.  IE  EURUSD is 0.03 and EURGBP is 0.04.

In the first 2 days of trading I lost 3 positions causing a 7.6% drop in balance

Questions:

1.  Is there a better way to choice the number and types of symbols?

2. Is my lot size to big for a balance of $1000?  is 3% OK?

3.  Should I use a equity protection or a balance protection?   What I want to do make $1000 -> $1500  then I will add another $1000 to the account.   Maintaining 3% of balance on won money going forward.  I just need to get to $1500 first.

4.  What am I doing wrong?  or could I do something better?

I would appreciate a short direct answer here as well as a link to one of your videos for a detailed answer.
