ParticipantHello Roman, I know what is Excel 🙂 I just did not think of using to track my work with EA Studio. I am starting right now 🙂

ParticipantI will start doing that. I believe it will give me a better and organized work. Do not know from where to start, but I will just start typing in what I do daily with the Generator and the Acceptance criteria.

ParticipantHey Van,
yes, just start entering the values you use in the acceptance criteria, write the currency pairs and the time frames. The idea is to compare the results. See which methods will work better for you.

ParticipantDear traders, I would like to say thanks to Petko, and his team. This is my first post in the Forum and was silent for a few months because I was skeptical to EA Studio.
I took the license in January, and in March I ended with 43% profit of 1k account. April was 23% and May so far is at 33%. I am more than happy with these results, but I would not be able to accomplish that without the help of Petko in 1:1 classes and all his courses.
Now I will be concentrated on improving the Generator settings and the Acceptance criteria.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Roberdson,
your experience is very motivational. I currently test the EAs from a few courses and I am on the trial period of EA Studio. All looks great and it is nice to see that it works on a longer term as well. I have booked a class with Petko for next week, and I am quite excited about it.
Kind regards,

Participant@Violet- I track as follows TimeFrame-Magic #- Date placed on Demo. So it would look like this: H1-03870864-Demo-02/05/19 and then this would go under the column assigned to the pair GBPJPY. This is actually a strategy I put live last month on GJ and is the top performing strategy I’ve generated to date. Using Excel like this also helps when I’ve changed my generator settings I highlight the first EA in the batch to track the performance, and note what settings I used on that date to refer back to if successful.
@Rob- Welcome!

ParticipantHey Roman, thanks for sharing how you use excel.
This is very useful because we trade with many EAs and if we do not do something like that we will lose the road.

ParticipantHello all,
My name is Simone, and recently I took the zoptimal Pack with EA Studio license and FSB Pro license. It turns out that I did not see all of the tools available when I used the trial period. For example, I did not see there is a Reactor. This tool really made my day happy because I realize just now that all is automatically generated and the strategies go over the robustness tests too.
I am glad being in the Forum, and I am sure I will have some questions.

ParticipantHello Simone,
welcome to the forum! Yes the Reactor is great tool, I use it every single day. If you succeed to make a plan and organize your day in a way that you can run it constantly will be the best. For example, what I learnt from the more experienced traders here, I run the Reactor before work for 500 min and then I run it one more time after work for another 600 min.
This was the program works for you when you are not on the computer.
and I run always 3 reactors simultaneously on my computer.

ParticipantHi Simone, Welcome! Thapelo gave you the best piece of advice – organize your time and take the maximum of EA Studio.
At the beginning I was doing that only during the weekend, I succeeded to create some nice EAs, but when I started running the reactor daily, I got much more profitable with more stable results.
Feel free to ask questions. The Forum is the best place to learn.

ParticipantHey guys,
thank you so much for the pieces of advice. They are precious to me. I was out of town for a business trip but now I am back and I will put a lot of energy into EA Studio, and when used with it, I will start using FSB Pro.
I will try now to run the Reactor in the morning on 3 different tabs, and the same at the evening after work.
I have already about 20 EAs on Demo, and I am very happy with the results they do.

ParticipantHi Simone,
the guys gave you a good idea from where you should start. I would also suggest you focus on EA Studio first, and then on FSB Pro. This way you will get easier with FSB pro too. But do not leave it behind. Great EAs could be created with FSB Pro.

ParticipantI started first with FSB Pro because this time EA Studio was still not available. However, it was really easy to get used with EA Studio after that. It has great features even you are a beginner.
Simone, for sure you will learn from a lot from both programs
June 28, 2019 at 8:32 am #14777Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantHaliffa is correct, if you learn FSB Pro first, EA Studio will be much easier. But if you are a beginner you better start with EA Studio. And yes, the programs really teach you to trade, because they will show you what are the profitable strategies. And you will find that many strategies that you were using manually are losing, or at least they need to be changed.

ParticipantHello Thapelo

Do you test the same assets again in the evening or do you pull others in?
