As a note: Besides trading the FTMO app robots I also create my own EAs using EA Studio which has been profitable. I have shown the performance of my own EAs in another topic. So you might consider creating your own EAs.

I have also experienced this though mine is over several days. I am doing a prop firm challenge and currently at 3% drawdown and yet my drawdown is 6%. I am thinking of starting to manually close the profits when they get to a certain level. Did you get any differing advice.

The news filter is not reading properly the news. According to the robot there is no high news for EUR on the 22nd of February. And if you check in any economic calendar there is coming the CPI new for EUR on the 22nd of February.

Hi Jesus,

You need to enable “Medium and High News Filter”. CPI shows up on the medium filter. However, you may not see it show up on the chart until we get closer to the 22nd.

It should be show from know the CPI new because the robot is showing news that are the 23rd. Moreover, the CPI new is a high relevant new as you can see in any economic calendar, so it should be show as a high new not a medium one. Also, this is happing with many other news. Some of the are cataloged as medium news which are not. It worries me that the filter news is not filtering well the news.

Does FTMO app work on another trading platform other than MT 4 or MT5?

FTMO is moving towards DXtrade!

What do you mean by “FTMO is moving towards DXtrade”? That FTMO will abandon MetaTrader? Do you have information about this?
FTMO has been using DXtrade for a long time.

Hi gabiscriba and Joseph,

FTMO is no longer allowing United States traders to use MT4/Mt5 and is migrating their accounts to DXtrade a web based trading platform. This only applies to US traders. Also Expert Advisors will not work with DXtrade.

Since the 20th there have been no trades for me at all. Is anyone else facing this issue with v6 FTMO bots? Any advice will be appreciated to get this bot going. screenshot attached if any help

Hi sen A,

The FTMO app robots trade 1 to 2 times per week. You can view this in the app by looking at each robot and looking at the Count of Trades in their stats. For example if you select Y1 and a robot show 52 trades being taken that means that particular robot is placing 1 trade per week on average. So, just give it more time to see trades being taken.

Alan can you please answer this? I am running into tye following issue when trying to use the bots, trades not paced although the bots look fine on the charts, and getting repeatedly this error message: Error with ordercheck: trade disabled

what could be the cause please?
