Hello, good afternoon, I bought the FTMO bot last week and it opened 3 operations today in the morning, I had a profit of $1000 and now in the afternoon I have $0, my question is if there is a way for the bot to make profits by moving the SL or only closes with initial entry

How can I see the last weeks performance in the FTMO Robot app? Maybe i’m missing something. Is it only showing overall performance?

Hello Dusan,

I assume I know the reason for the issue. Please check the “Journal” tab of the tester and see for error messages.

Do you find something like: “Error with order check: unsupported filling mode”?

If it is, it will confirm my idea for a fix.

Please, refresh the FTMO App with Ctrl + F5 and try again.

We uploaded a new version of the FTMO Robots MQL code. It has improved functions for setting the Order Filling Type.

Please reload the FTMO App with Ctrl + F5 and re-export your MQL5 robots.

The Ea Trading Academy staff is working on a new update of the FTMO App. The next release will have features for showing statistics for the last Year, Month, Week, and Day.

As I know, the new release is planned for February.

Currently, you can see the stats in the robots itself.

Did you refresh the FTMO App and download the Robots again?

No, you don’t need to do it.

Some brokers do not require settings of the “type_filling” parameter when sending orders.

The original robots were designed without that option because FTMO and MT5 from MetaQuotres do not need it.

However, we see that traders use these robots on brokers with custom settings, which require Order Filling Type to be set.

How is it possible that you had $1000 and now $0, I got the Bot running too and didn’t se any drastic price change in any currency to make that massive difference.

I suppose the new update in future will bring a new Robot that will put trailing TP to protect the unrealised profits.
