Fast way to compile lots of strategies in MT5

Hi guys,

For a long time, I have been compiling EAs in MT5 one by one in the Metaeditor and it was taking a VERY long time.

I just found a really fast way to do it.

I just pasted around 80 EAs into Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts > Advisors

Then I exit MT5

Then I relaunch MT5

All 80 strategies compiled themselves automatically 🙂

Saved me about an hour of work!

You can also just add them to Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts > Advisors

Then right click on expert advisors under “Navigator” and click on refresh, this will compile them for you without shutting down MT5 terminal.

I’ve compiled at lease 10 EA’s at a time this way with no issues.

Hi Bigknd,

For some reason, refreshing the navigator does not work in my copy of MT5. Perhaps it is something to do with the broker.

In any case, anyone with the issue of laborious compiling now has two solutions to try.

That’s strange, it does take quite a few minutes for it to compile but does get there in the end.

Like you say though a couple of methods for people to try 😉
