Petko was banned for using the Waka Waka, which is a MQL5 commercial EA. With the prop firm robots, you can make your EAs and trades completely unique by changing the magic number, SL and TP, risk, etc.. We haven’t had any reports of any users using the Prop Firm Robots on FTMO having any issues.

In addition, there’s a very cool new feature in beta testing – randomization! This automatically randomizes the settings of the EA to make it unique, while maintaining the integrity and profitability. It will be released soon.

Hi Gitesh,

EAs do not generate signals, they open trades based on signals from the market. If you mean they are not opening trades, that’s not unusual. If you look at stats for a week, you’ll see that some EAs will only open 1 or 2 trades per week.

The settings will change according to your goals and protections. You can change the setting in the Inputs for Maximum Equity (Currency) to 0, so that the EAs do not stop trading when a profit target is hit. You can also change other settings like minimum equity and risk in %.

Please check the Minimum Equity Setting. This needs to be higher that the account balance. It’s a protection setting. The EAs will be removed/disabled should your account balance fall below the specified minimum equity.

Hi there,

 

You can continue using the EAs on a funded account, and simply adjust the settings. In the Properties of the EA (inputs) find the line “Maximum Equity (Currency)” and set the value to 0, so the EA doesn’t stop trading when the profit is hit. Or adjust it to an amount you want.

Keep in mind that the Prop Firm Robots are designed for challenges and the risk and protection settings are selected before downloading the EA, so you’ll have to adjust them to suit your goals.
