Good questions here! I believe they will be useful to others as well.
The first thing I see with your broker is that the spread for GBPUSD is 30 points, which is way too much. You generated the strategies with the MetaTrader-Demo data which is coming from JFD broker and there the spread is below 10. I think this is the main reason you see this result.
Second, you have just 12 000 bars with your broker which won’t be enough to backtest EAs or generate new ones. Did you press the home key to load more bars?
The best thing you can do is to generate the strategies using your broker’s data.
Anyway, if you want to optimize it, you just use the Optimizer or the Normalizer.
Using round numbers will keep you away from over-optimization, but you better use Monte Carlo as well.

How did you create the strategies in the trading portfolio? Do they have an SL and TP? Or they have exit conditions?
Could you send me some screenshots so I can see them better?
Maybe you need to wait a bit longer to see the trades closing.

I am still testing the new free Forex historical data, too early to say.
What you can do is to generate strategies with the new data, and recalculate it with your Historical data.
This way, you will see if the data is similar.

I think VPS not from a Forex broker will work just fine and enough for you.
Most safely is to use the EAs on your computers at home.
Wow, I have never heard about these Scam Brokers, and this topic will be handy for me. I will be so cautious with them! I will wait for the new theme from Petko Aleksandrov about trustful brokers too! It is great to have someone on our side when we are learning how to trade precisely!

The Reactor works sequentially. The idea is to use a couple of robust tests to see if the strategies are reliable. If you use all of them, you will probably not get any strategy.
We are looking for the golden middle where we have strict acceptance criteria and a few robust tools, for example, EA Studio + one another, and in few hours to have enough strategies in the collection to choose from.
