ParticipantGlad to hear that guys. Anyway concentrate on the trading and the strategies, not over the brokers.

ParticipantHey Jacpin, Yes, they did which is not a bad thing. brokers will benefit less, and traders will lose less.
Anyway I am talking here about the traders that have no idea what they are doing(90%), no education, no courses, no EAs, nothing.
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantYou are welcome, Jacpin.
What you need to keep in mind is that the higher leverage gives you the change to trade with more EAs, because it will block less from your account.
The brokers benefit more from higher leverage because the beginner trades get very greedy after few profitable trades and open huge positions with huge leverage, and they lose it all…that is why after the new regulations, most of the brokers benefit much less…
Kind regards,

ParticipantShould be 🙂 We always test before launch anything.

ParticipantHey guys,
As promised, the new feature to upload pictures/screenshots is ready.
Just click the last image icon:

after that a small window comes up where you need to:
- choose the file
- make a description
- choose the size
Do not hesitate to put some pics or screenshots to your post, they will be more informative, and specially if you have questions to me, it is much easier if you upload screenshots.

ParticipantHey Jacpin,
Glad to see you opened another interesting topic.
Now, the leverage has nothing to do with the results in pips. That is why EA Studio does not have any interfere with it, ot any settings about it.
Leverage with simple words is borrowed money from the broker to open higher positions. Of course we do not pay any interest on it.
For example, if you have 10 000 account with 1:100 leverage, you will be able to opene maximum 100 times bigger positions, which is 1 000 000 position. BUT the maximum you can lose will be your 10 000 that you have. And this could happen with small move of the price.
That is why we never open the maximum we can.
Now, if you have 1:500 you will be able to open 500 times bigger position from what you have in the account.
Another thing, 1:1 is if you go on the exchange bureau and buy any currency.
The move of the market is one and the same…nothing to do with the leverage. This is between you and the broker, not the market.
I hope I explained it in more practical way.

ParticipantAnd yes, everything with Petko is very clear. Pleasure studding his courses.

ParticipantIf a broker makes a forum on their website, I will be the first one who opens live account there.
I do not believe this will happen.
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantI am 1:500 leverage and for me is just fine, as Petko says with good money management should be all fine
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantThanks for the information Petko!
I have all of your courses which are great!
I was also thinking that you update the 99, I did not know they are different…that is amazing!
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantI use 1:100 and I feel it is just fine for me.
Jacpin, if you are trading with 0.01, you should not have issues with 1:100 leverage if your account is above or around 1k at least?
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantHello Jacpin,
recently in Europe there were new regulation changes, and most of the regulated broker had to lower the offered leverage. Imagine how much less they will benefit. Most of them fired many people because of that.
Simply, when higher leverage is used, more people lose money( I am talking about the average “trader” who did not go over even one trading course).
So most of the broker has maximum of 1:50 now…
No doubt you will have smart money management, so trading with higher leverage wont be an issue with you.
Kind regards,
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantYou are welcome, Andi! You should be always skeptical about the brokers.
Also, if any is legit and regulated, it does not mean it will stay this way forever. It could always get on the Scam brokers side.
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantHey Andi,
I understand your point, and I know it is hard to set up the account with the broker, the VPS or the trading machines.
However it is the first important step in algorithmic trading.
Try to make is as simple as possible so you will focus on the trading itself.
Also, you are right that everything should be opened and clear, but unfortunately not all of the brokers do it..
About forum, I do not think there will be ever forum in any of the brokers 🙂
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantHi Andi,
yes I am going to do it after the new year.
Cheers
