Glad to hear from you again. Yes, I normally place back the EAs at the beginning of the second week.
But it is personal choice if you want to do that, or keep trading(I just share my strategy).
Actually, all the EAs I have on live accounts I change the lots with 0.01 lots(instead of total pause) just to monitor and observe how it goes.
Also, keep in mind that all the strategies we generate with EA Studio or FSB Pro are based on Historical data, that includes these Holidays or all rest Red Hot News, etc..

I was very blind trading on Bitcoin exchange. However, I did it because I was scammed and I looked for a way to avoid the brokers..
Anyway now I know what to do and where to trade.
I really appreciate that you do not make any promises in the courses, Petko! You give us great education that I was looking for long time, and with the EAs you give the opportunity to trade automatically for really low costs.

I did the stupid mistake to take gaming computer, and it went to my son after that. Then I took a Forex VPS, and now I am looking for desktop…as said above no need to spend money for Forex VPS, even it gives some kind of security.

you are right, no need to have gaming computers as they put inside normally more powerful video cards which makes them more expensive. That is why the Forex VPS normally are with poor resolution but higher RAM and cores.

Yes, the end of December is not really the best time to trade. There are huge transactions happening. Huge corporations are taking their profits at the end of the year, into their own country in their own currency.
For example, lets say you have business in UK, and you are digging oil. At the end of the year you have 5 billions of profit in Pounds. What you would do is to transfer them in US and exchange in USD. This huge transaction will actually cause a move in GBPUSD pair. And this is something that no one will know about(except you and the bank that makes the transaction).
So normally I pause the live accounts between Christmas and New Year.

Glad to hear from you, and good to see that this portfolio EA keeps showing great result. Have you been eliminating the losing ones or you kept it on Demo trading with all strategies?
What I am looking for when generating the EAs is:
1. Profit factor min of 1.2
2. Min 300 trades
3. Monte Carlo performance
4. SL and TP from 10 to 100I do my best to improve the above.

I was going around the Forum and saw that old topic that should be nowadays a bit more on the front.
The spread is just normal now, not as it was last year during this time.
About the Bitcoin exchanges vs the Bitcoin trading with CFD, I really do not like to say it but I can say to many traders: I TOLD YOU SO!
Unfortunately, millions of people lost their savings on the exchanges, however Bitcoin trading is for the smart traders.

You are right John, but I am not sure if it is only RAM needed to place more Meta Traders, as I am now the hardware guy…if someone shares more professional opinion on that would be very useful!
Hey John, this is because most of the people selling EAs are just sellers…here we do education in trading, and all EAs attached are with educational purpose. Of course profits can be made with them, but that is personal choice and risk. No promises from me, which is something the sellers of EAs are very good! 🙂
Hello, you are absolutely right, Jacpin. The best thing would be to test a Demo account with higher leverage, and you can do it 100% same as your live account. This way you will see what will be the different. basically as Petko said, there will be no difference in the performance, but you will see more free margin to trade with.
Higher leverage for us, the algo traders, will be useful if we trade many EAs in small account. I did not see a need to higher the leverage, because I trade small number of EAs on relatively big account(according to me).
