Haliffa, people are different. Some prefer to trade manually some algorithmically.
As I explain in nearly all of my courses the algorithmic trading helps the traders to avoid emotions, but at the same time, there are some really good manual trading strategies.

Welcome to the forum. Well, that is a huge dilemma in algorithmic trading. You will not find a precise answer to this question.
The best thing would be to try it both. You can open one Demo account and leave it trading all the time, and one another where you can pause. See which one will be better for you.
Personally, I do not pause anymore. The EAs are generated and backtested over the complete Historical data which means without pausing. And the other thing is that we aim at fully algorithmic trading.
So it is up to you.

You are absolutely right that EA Studio is an awesome product. It will improve your trading by 100%.
1. The Portfolio eAs are only for MT4. Why? Because MT5 does not allow hedging with most of the regulated brokers.
2. In Full data optimization, you are using the complete Historical data you have. With the Walk forward you have the option to use OOS. This stand for Out of Sample. If you select 20%, that would mean that you are using 80% to optimize and the rest 20% will be simulated trading. This way you can see how the strategy performed as you traded it.

for sure you are missing something here. It can not be the case that you have one magic number in MT and different in FX BLue. The website takes it from your account.
