ParticipantHi Dygon,
For the 80000 euro challenge set the EA properties as follows. This will limit risk to 1%.
Amount for a new lot = 2.4
Maximum position amount = 2.4
Amount to add on addition = 0.0
Amount to close on reduction = 0.0For the 10000 euro challenge set the EA properties as follows. This will limit risk to 1%.
Amount for a new lot = 0.3
Maximum position amount = 0.3
Amount to add on addition = 0.0
Amount to close on reduction = 0.0To determine which EAs are working the best in the current trading environment add all EAs to a demo account and watch them for one to two weeks. Then pick the EAs performing the best and add to your FTMO challenge.

ParticipantThe following is the results of my fourth test of the FTMO robot V4.1 on an FTMO 14 day free demo account from October 12, 2023 through October 25, 2023. Account size $10,000. Lot size was 0.3 the recommended lot size for this account size. This is the second consecutive loss for the EA. The loss was -0.96% with a drawdown of 2.73%. If I combine the five test together the results would show a total profit since the beginning of August 2023 of 6.3%.
I will now start another 14 day demo and continue to test the FTMO EURUSD EA version 4.1.
Note I continue to test FTMO EURUSD version 4.1 and not version 4.3. What I am testing is how long will a single EA continue to show good results. Since the demo account is still positive I will continue to test FTMO EURUSD version 4.1.

ParticipantAnswers to your questions:
A1) The robots will come with the course.
A2) The course will instruct you as to how to set up the robot parameters so you will not hit the drawdown limits.
A3) The course will instruct you as to how to get the robot updates.
A4. Yes you can run the robot on multiple FTMO accounts.Alan,

ParticipantYes the graph should show 30.4 pips. I don’t know why it is showing up as 304 pips. The EA parameters are in points so this is what the EA will use.
Alan Northam
ParticipantThe only thing you should change is the Lot Size, you should not change any of the other parameters. Lot size should be chosen based upon account size and the risk you are willing to take.
Alan Northam
ParticipantYes, that is correct!

ParticipantFBSpro shows 7 trades opened from the 18th to 25th and 6 trades closed. Trade reversals are not counted as opened or closed trades. However, if you count the trades in the profit/loss column the number is 13.

Alan Northam
ParticipantIt is also possible for the two demo account to take different number of trades.
Alan Northam
ParticipantBased on MT4 Strategy Tester backtest of EURUSD on live FTMO account from the 18th until today there were 16 trades. I am not using Petkos FTMO EAs on the live FTMO account. I am using my own EAs. So all I can say is that backtesting with Strategy Tester shows there were 16 trades.

ParticipantIs the demo account still opening trades? Does the demo account and the live account use the same broker?
Alan Northam
ParticipantThe suffix is just the name of the chart and has nothing to do with the chart history data, so that is not the problem. As long as the EA has been properly attached to the chart it will open a trade. I have seen the FTMO EAs not open a trade for two days. So hang in there the EA will most likely open a trade soon.

ParticipantHi Daniel,
In some cases demo accounts and live accounts with the same broker can have different servers. This can cause the results to be different. You can download the data from both accounts and compare them in a spreadsheet to see if they are different.

ParticipantHi Aki,
Depending upon which EA you are trying to trade could take from a few minutes to a few days before it will take a trade. As long as the EA is added to the chart properly you just need to give it more time to place that first trade.

ParticipantNo problem, happy to hear it is now working!
