Hi Petko. When you update the courses, the eas with the same magic number, are they the same strategies? Thanks
Normally if you see a strategy with the same Magic Number it means it is not updated. Only the course Top 5 Forex strategies go with the PFD attached. You can see there if there was a change. And if there was one, it will be underlined.

Yes!!! I am in the course from the beginning but never realised I tested and traded so many EAs just from that course 🙂

Hi Petko. About the 30 ea’s walk forward optimization: i put the new eas in demo account, with the 30 old eas. Now, with the same magic number, two trades are opening. So, what i think is that they are the same eas. But i don’t know. What must i do? I want to combine the old nov eas, with the new dec eas, because many old eas are profitable. But with the same magic number, how to do? I am confuse, because the eas are together, 10 eas in a single eas. I don’t know how to follow the eas. Thanks

Sorry, I have missed your question.
In Portfolio EAs, we set the magic number as we want. It comes from EA Studio as 100. But you need to modify it when you trad it over the chart.
In the input menu, you will see the option to edit the magic number. It is on the bottom.
If you are trading with different Portfolio EAs, make sure to place unique numbers for the first 3-4 digits. The simplest way to go is to start with 100, 101, 102….and so on.
You can make your system. For example, use for EURUSD 100, 101, 102…, GBPUSD 200, 201, 202…
This way, you will recognize easier the strategies in the results after that.
