I have the same issue! On which criteria did you choose the bots (e.g. best 5 bots per month?).

I will continue with much less risk 0,5% or even 0,25%..

Update,

My FTMO 200k demo account has been lost 6.5% DD EP was set but didnt tag me out at 4.8% like it should have done.

Has anyone else experanced the same fath ?

@Bob how often do you update the bots?

I recently switched to daily updates and got better results.

Hello everyone. After a long break with the Prop Firm Robot system, i am back to check performance and give it another try with the new features and improvements. Currently set on 10k and 25k challenges on low risk. I usually dont tweak anything regarding indicators and entry. Only risk  management, account protections and SL/TP sometimes. I am not trading more than 3 charts and when hopefully funded i will pause for a week to reassess strategy. Currently due to US elections another 2 EAs i am using also had massive DD, as i believe the market will spend next 7 days as well to adjust and normalise. There are many vaariable in place when one of the top 3 economies and markets change administration as there are several policies and annoucnements that will be affected and until these are set and fixed and known, i take  it the bulk of systemic traders big players will not make any significant moves and this could affect liquidity and volatility. Eventually, 15-20 days after elections things will be more stable, bear in mind xmas are around the corner as is the new year as well. And although all of these events offer opportunity the downside is price movements can be more ranging than trending and the high and lows more erratic.

I update every week and select the best 10 for the month with 1.0% risk however ill now test best 5 EA after watching Petko video last night.  Im on a FTMO Demo 200k account that will end next week and ill test again.

Hello, my bot is not running well. It almost only has the SL 😓 What can I do about it? I use 5 different bots. I read that I should do an update, but where can I do an update?

Ilan, would you suggest downloading all robots anyway and still trade them on demo account even when they are no more in the app? Anyway I agrre with Richard. It would be great to have them available in another archive. Thanks Valentina

Hi Pascal,

By Update we mean to Download the latest top robots from the App. You can either use Top 3-5 top robots from Last week, month or year. The robots Change once in a while. If your Portfolio goes well, you probably dont need to Change anything or Just do a weekly update. If you have Two or more consecutive losses a Day per robot, you should definitly Update again

I bought the prop firm EA robot and I will use it for FTMO. Is a VPS necessary for ftmo or would I still be able to use the EA prop firm robot without VPS on FTMO?

I get your point, but the whole idea behind the app is to have the best EAs, without having hundreds running on demo accounts. To eliminate demo trading.

The EAs don’t disappear. They are still in our collections, and they are validated against historical data – the last 5 years – every Saturday. So, the best EAs/strategies are always in the app. That’s why you might see an EA that was created 80 or 90 days ago, and added 18 days ago for example.

I would say a VPS is critical for EA-based trading.

Otherwise you have to ensure that your PC’s internet connection is really fast, with low latency to the broker’s server, that your PC is always running 24/7, and that the internet connection is very stable and never goes down. If your internet connection goes down your EA may not manage the trades properly and you may lose trades because of that.

You can find cheap VPS, like:

– Contabo

– Hetzner

– Hyonix

Make sure to select Windows OS.

MT5 can run on Linux using certain tools, but setting that up is not for beginners.
