Mines the same I’m using an ftmo demo account that opened trades using previous versions of the robots.

 

Also used the set files for the inputs.

As long as you see a smiley face everything is working. I trade the M15 time frame almost all the time with my own robots and sometimes I have to wait a day before I get a trade. So hang in there, the trades are coming!

Same here, is there an explanation why taking trades taking some days ?

In the previous version which worked in the M1 timeframe it was the same.

But there were plenty of trade opportunities. thanks

I tested the beta version for free for the last 3 weeks and the settings are similar. Very very good results however it only took 2-3 trades a week. Just need to be patient and the trades will happen

With V5 Petko added some extra indicators to the EA so now it will take more time for all the indicators to line up and provide a trade signal.  While it may take some extra time for trades to happen the quality of the trades should be greater.

Hello Benedikt,

There is no error with the EAs for MT5. It works smoothly:

Today, we don’t have any trades yet, so that may be why you can’t see the EAs trading. But they will. Could you give it more time?

Hey Alan

Running on MT5 and just got everything setup and running. I do not see a Smiley Face though, I do see a little blue graduation hat. Is that what we need to see?

Same as me, MT5 I think.
Nothing as yet for me either. No issues in the journal though.
I have amended the lot sizes just in case it is a micro lot issue. I am testing on Alpha Capital Demo, not FTMO.

I do have blue graduation hat which denotes that it is working correctly.

May just have to be patient. The new additions to the bot are looking for additional confluences.

It will only enter once they are met.

I have both versions (MT4 and MT5) running on separate demo accounts. No trades yet, either in the MT4 version or in the MT5 version.

The new FTMO V5 EAs have additional indicators built into them.  As a result it may take more time for all the indicators to line up and provide trades.  While the new EAs have additional indicators built into them when they do provide trades the trades should better results.

I just wanted to share the status of my testing phase. I will continue to monitor everything. Maybe something will happen next week.
