Prop Firm Robots: Errors and Solutions

Hi, I’ve recently purchased the top 10 prop robots app. I’ve installed one robot (USDJPY), backtested it and set it up to work on a demo. However, when I try and install more, they will not appear on the experts tab on mt4. I have them installed in the MQL4 folder however they will not show up. I’ve tried again and again, but the issue is still the same, please advise 🙂

Hello there,

so, just to be sure, you saved the EA’s on a folder, then copied them from that folder to MQL experts folder and after that you refreshed and don’t see the EA’s ? I’m asking, because unfortunately, the screenshot could not open it.

Hi,

These are the things I done:

1) downloaded the USDJYP bot, copied the file from my downloads to MQL4, refreshed my MT4 platform and bot appeared with no issues

2) backtested the bot and made minor custom adjustments

3) went back to download an XAUUSD bot and an GBPUSD bot from the app using the same process as in step 1, however nothing happened.

4) I installed the two bots from step 3 in a zip folder, unzipped the folder, opened it and dragged the files into MQL4, nothing happened

5) deleted the USDJPY bot and tired to download all three as a zip folder, however after the process only the original bot from step 1 appeared, not the others.

6) tired installing the bots individually one by one, however the same result as step 5 happened, only the original bot from step on appeared.

Alright, will check it with support team and let you know. By the way, meanwhile, i tried myself to download an EA from Prop Firm App, saved it, then copied it in MQL Experts folder and refreshed the expers in the platform and the EA appeared.

I too, in the meantime have watched the video provided and attempted to ‘compile’ the bot before, I tried then refreshing and reopening my mt4, however nothing appeared

Hey there,

did you get the EA’s working ? Make sure you are logged in to your account and from there go to the Prop Firms App to download your robots.

Checked with support team, all seems fine with your order but you need to access the app from account.

Honestly I wish I could show you.

I’m logged in correctly and everything on the forex robot app, I can download the robots, the issue is they never appear for me in MT4.

The robot i downloaded first yesterday is working fine, even executed a trade today, but nothing else. I’ve tried different accounts, live accounts, I’ve tried all the steps I mentioned yesterday and nothing works. The experts do not appear on the experts tab on MT4 despite being in the MQL4> Experts folder.

Honestly I cannot solve this issue.

Please share a video from the steps that you follow so we can understand what’s wrong and help you (you can reply to the email I sent you).

Also be sure that the robots are placed in the MQL > Experts > Advisors folder and after you compile them, restart the MetaTrader platform.

the conditions for opening a trade might have not been met. How is it now ? Did the EA manage to open a trade meanwhile ?

Hello! When I activate the prop firm robot on Darwinex Pro appears “ExpertRemove() function called”, how can I solve the issue?

I’ve done the same on FTMO and the5ers and are working, only on Darwinex zero having problems.
