ParticipantHi Brian,
This is normal as the historical data of each broker is different!
Alan,
Brian Pelton
ParticipantThank you Alan!

ParticipantHi Brian,
FTMO V6.0 – I just had a short trade open for AUDUSD on both 8cap and FTMO.
Alan,
Sammy Trader
MemberSame here, I am still waiting for the trade to take place since two days. Thank God that the passing time of the challenges have hanged to ‘unlimited’.

ParticipantHello Alan,
I rewatched the video again to make sure and he definetly says he used all 8 bots to pass the challenge. And on the FTMO page it says it here also? So if we can get clarity from the man himself?
Alan Northam
ParticipantHi paul4x,
Exactly! The clarity is in the video. The majority of the video discusses testing all 8 robots on a FREE FTMO demo account and then choosing the top 1 to top 3 robots to use in a challenge. Near the end of the video he says he also used all 8 robots to pass the challenge.
So in the video Petko shares three strategies to pass the challenge.
1. Test all robots and pick the top robot.
2. Test all robots and pick the top 3 robots.
3. Use all 8 robots.
*Each of the three strategies have good points and bad points.Alan,
MUSTAFA SAMEH
ParticipantHello
I have two demo accounts, one with FTMO 100k and one with XM 50k. I put the robots in the new version in both accounts. I see that two trades were opened in the FTMO account and no trades were opened in XM.MUSTAFA SAMEH
ParticipantIs it possible to add conditions for challenging Fundednext accounts, such as 6k and 15k, in the FTMO Robot App?
Alan Northam
ParticipantHi Mustafa,
Yes this can happen because the historical data for both FTMO and XM are different. I would suggest doing a backtest on XM by using the MetaTrader Strategy Tester. You can then look at the journal to see how often trades were taken. This will give you an idea how long you need to wait to see trades develop.

ParticipantPlease contact [email protected] and ask if they can add your request as a new feature.

ParticipantHas anyone personally backtested the files? I am getting quite different results than the ones in the App:

Alan Northam
ParticipantHi Chris,
I have noticed the same thing. I have even tried to correlate with EA Studio which was used to create the robots but it does not correlate with the app.
Alan,
Chris Popov
ParticipantThanks, I hope you will escalate this to Petko or the team to check.
I also tested some of the robots for other pairs and the results also differ. And this is tested on a real FTMO Challenge (not Eightcap or other broker).
paul4x
Participantthis is trully worrying
Alan Northam
ParticipantHi Chis,
They are working on an updated version of the FTMO app. I don’t know when it will be released.
