The FTMO app was developed to show traders which robots are the top performers for each time period so traders would not need to do the backtesting themselves. However, it is still the responsibility of each trader to decide how to use this information as Petko has stated this organization is not a signal provider.

Hello Traders,

As the weekend is coming to a close, I’m preparing and selecting my M1 top performing  EAs for next week.

My 3 top M1 performers from two weeks ago are EURAUD, AUDUSD, USDCHF, these top performers are the same as last week’s.

My question is should I just upload the same EAs again, or leave them be, once they are the same pairs anyway?

Kindly note that I have an open trade in sight DD on USDCHF.

Hi Bob,

Here is what I do:

If the current EA I am trading have been profitable over the last one to two weeks it tells me the EA is in a profitable trend and I want to continue to let it trade.  I would only replace the EA with new EA if the backtest shows it has been more profitable over the last one to two weeks.

If I have an EA with a DD I would look to see how long it has been in a DD.  If the DD is only for one or two days I would keep trading it as all EAs will have periods of DD’s and then continue on to be profitable.  However, if the DD is more than two days then it is telling me the EA is in a downward trend and I would replace it.

Hi Ryan,

The other robots are not shown because they had no trades for the last one week.  What you should be looking at it the top row as these are the top 3 performers for the last one week.

Hi Nicholas,

This is because Minimum equity (currency) and/or Maximum equity (currency) in the EAs properties box are not the proper values for your account size. The proper values depends upon which prop firm you are using and your account balance.

Hi, I have correctly added forexsb.com to activate the high-impact news filter, but i always get this error message:

 

“News filter cannot access the news server”

 

I have deleted the bot files and reinstalled them, went to tools/options/EA/ and enabled… but the error remains…  Anybody has had the same issue? what should i do ?  Thanks in advance
