Hello all,

I do not know if you have noticed the educational cap on the blue bar of EA Studio:

When you click on it, it shows brief information for each feature in EA Studio.

When you change the tab, it will show automatically the information for the feature:

Also, I am glad to say that I was invited from Forex Software company to record short videos for each feature.

We will do our best to record those till the end of 2019. This will make the usage of EA Studio easier and faster for everyone.

In the video, you will learn what is the newest in EA Studio and how useful it could be to find even better strategies for trading.

Now we see the parameters in the different segments and a complete backtest with the last parameters:

We say that a strategy has passed the walk forward optimization if:

• all segments are validated
• the complete backtest with the last parameters is validated with the common acceptance criteria
• the new strategy is better than the original one

Hi Petko, thanks for the video. I have watched it, but to be honest it is quite advanced for me. I will need to watch it again. I did not use the Walk Forward so far. You said you demonstrate it in Top 10 USDCAD course. Maybe I will have a look at this course first and then this lecture will make more sense to me.

Glad to hear from you. I am planning to record series of videos for EA Studio and FSB Pro that will be in help of the traders how to use the programs from A to Z. Similar to these videos but starting from the zero.

And yes, the WFO is quite interesting. I am still testing it a lot but got some decent strategies that are already on a live.

Hey Petko, such videos will be very useful! Even I am already familiar with EA Studio I would be interested to have such videos just to be sure I am not missing anything. Also, it will be helpful for the new traders.

I really like the Walk Forward Optimization. I think the idea is great and I will test it out as well!
