    Hi traders,

    Just a quick question;

    For the purpose of exporting historical data, should we keep demo accounts in one installation of MT4/MT5, and live accounts in another?

    Or can we keep all the accounts in one installation of MT4/MT5, because the servers we download data from are switched when we switch between accounts within MT4/MT5?

    Hey Simon,

    very good question!

    If you want to have the data from the live and from the demo servers you have to do it on different MT installations.
