Sorry, I have missed your question.
In Portfolio EAs, we set the magic number as we want. It comes from EA Studio as 100. But you need to modify it when you trad it over the chart.
In the input menu, you will see the option to edit the magic number. It is on the bottom.
If you are trading with different Portfolio EAs, make sure to place unique numbers for the first 3-4 digits. The simplest way to go is to start with 100, 101, 102….and so on.
You can make your system. For example, use for EURUSD 100, 101, 102…, GBPUSD 200, 201, 202…
This way, you will recognize easier the strategies in the results after that.

Glad to hear from you. It makes me happy that you liked the courses. This gives me always a lot of energy to continue…
Now, when I was looking for strategy builders, I tested pretty much all available software at this time. And FSB Pro ( EA Studio was not yet developed) was the one that I liked the most. It had way more options than the others.
I am not going to make a comparison now, but if you take Strategy Quant, for example, you will see that there the entry and the exit conditions are not having trading logic. You might see something like: Buy if RSIxMACD/RVI is lower than sth… just calculated number which is nothing to with the trading idea of these indicators.
More, in FSB Pro, we have a visual graph, and we can see where precisely the trades were opened and close. And we can build the strategies with different logic groups, more extended timeframe filters and so on…

It is something that many people are looking for, but it is not practical when following the statistics. As Roman says, the Profit Factor would be not accurate. And not only the PF but all the others except the pips…
And having percentage entry might be useful if we double or triple accounts daily or weekly, which is not the reality 🙂

Roman, thank you for the FSB clarification. You did not leave anything on me to say 🙂
And yes, try to trust the software. In the beginning, everyone starts creating EAs with some ideas from previous experience.
But with the time, you will see that the generator is smart enough to calculate the strategies based on the Historical data. Still, a right combination of Acceptance criteria and robustness tools is a must.
Also, get used with the testing process because this will show you the current winners.

Recently I stopped using the Forex VPS because I realised from one of Petko methods that I do not need it.
He teaches in the 99 EAs Ethereum course that we can test 1 month in few seconds with EA Studio, and actually we can test any period.
So what I do recently:
1. Generate strategies and keep the collection in a folder
2. I do this every week for different assets and timeframes
3. After 3 months I recalculate the collection and see which strategies keep performing well
So every week now, I recalculate a collection and I create a new one which I recalculate after 3 months.
So I just put on my lie account the EAs that perform best after the recalculation
No contabo VPS anymore 🙂
