Also, all the courses which I update with new EAs monthly are updated.

You can find the EAs in the relative lectures.

Safe trading, and always practice on a Demo account first.

    Cheers,

    Hello traders!

This is Petko Alexandrov, and I hope everyone is doing great.

Today I have updated the Top 5 EAs course. Just the EURGBP strategy needed small optimization with the SL and the TP. The rest perform great, especially in the last few days.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers,

    Petko A

    Hello Simon,

What do you mean by how many percent of capital I invest?

There is the capital, and you always risk the amount of all SLes in the strategies. This is the risk.

I avoid drawdown bigger than 10%. I remove all EAs from live accounts that show a drawdown of 10%.

    Hello traders,

Last days I have recorded a video showing how to download Historical data from the Forex Historical Data App we have and how to make it work for any other broker’s data.

This is a great solution if you have a small number of bars, and you want to have more.

    Hey Charbel,

I believe there was a similar topic, and it was opened by you 🙂

    Conditions for averaging

I have explained in there why Grid trading is quite the opposite of all we are doing.

    Hello Charbel,

Yes, the mt4 strategy tester shows you the equity and balance lines.

In other words, this is the opened and closed trades.

The graph is just to give you an idea of how the strategy went, and in the report, you can see more details.

Anyway, you better use EA Studio backseat, where you have so many details if you go to report, OOS, or the indicator chart itself.

I love the Historical data tool. I am testing currently the Dukascopy with a small live account to see how it goes.

I hope I can use it in a longer-term with this fantastic data.

Yes, Andi if it gets inside EA Studio it will be even better.

How is your trading going recently?

I did above 50% this month which was a target that I couldn’t reach the last 6 months. Thanks to Petko of course…

    Hey guys,

A quite interesting topic that should not fall down in the Forum.

I see that using the right Acceptance criteria is what gives us the start.

Recently I started to use the Min Count of Trades + R-squared. I think robustness and a nice balance line works great because it just makes sense…

    Hey Michal,

    Ruuuun away, mate!

Why are you causing this to your self. Check out the trusted brokers that the Academy launched recently.

    I hate the scammers….

    Hello Nedko,

Glad to hear from you again.

Yes, I think you got it all.

Just keep in mind that the Walk Forward optimization changes the strategy, and the Walk Forward validation doesn’t change it. It just validates it.

Also, when you have run one time the Walk Forward Optimization in the reactor, you are seeing in the collection the strategies that passed it. And if you run the test after that it will fail, because it does it over the new strategies(that already passed). That was a question in your previous post I believe.

    Hey Roland,

Yes, I will ask my team to have a look at the issue with uploading pictures in the forum.

Anyway, you can send them to our e-mail and I will see them.

    Hey Ilan,

It always happens that there will be unexpected moves. And as it happens all the time, it means we have such moments in the Historical data that we use while generating the strategies. So the EAs are expected to go well over such days on average(one time could be bad, next will be good).

Anyway, what is the range of SL and TP that you use, and do you perform robustness tests as Monte Carlo?

    Hey Nedko,

    Glad to hear from you.

Your questions are very logical. But before I answer them, I would ask you to watch that video:

After that, if you still can not understand it, ask me again, and I will answer. It is not that I don’t want to write the answers, but I believe that by watching the video, you will understand even better how the Walk Forward works. Because it is visual, this is why I do inline courses, which is the easiest way to learn it all.

Please, watch it, and let me know if something left unclear.

    Hello Roland,

I am delighted to hear your words. I am happy to know that the content I provide is useful to more and more traders like you.

Thank you, indeed, for your kind words! They mean a lot to me!

Well, how I keep doing it, yes, many sleepless nights, but I don’t like to complain. I love what I do, and when people appreciate it, that is the only thing that gives me more and more energy.

Now, I am happy to be able to build a team around me, and soon I am planning to open a careers page on the website, so many of our students, enthusiasts, and traders, just like you, can join in different projects, and we can all benefit by developing better and better content.

Regarding the question….could you please provide me with some screenshots of how you set it up and what issues you see exactly.

Just attach them to the post in the Forum so that I can see better.
