ParticipantHey Petko,
thank you for quick response as always! Yeah, I remember with FSB Pro we had to place the magic number. Just wondering how they did it with EA Studio so it always comes with unique number…

ParticipantRight, everyone has it’s choice how to trade, depending on what can be afforded. Just like there are people trading with thousands in the accounts and there are some with 100-200 dollars.
The important is to start smart, and slowly. No big risk. Easy.

ParticipantGood point, George! If the orders do not match all the demo testing turns to be useless.

ParticipantYes, George, they are working a lot on it right now. It is getting better and better.

ParticipantYes, George, I do it pretty similar, I like to have EAs with SL and TP and in the same portfolio to have EAs without.
We get quite better diversification this way because the EAs without TP can take much bigger profits when there are long, extended moves.

ParticipantHi George,
When we export EA from EA Studio they get unique numbers. With FSB Pro you need to name them(or they take the name of the strategy)

ParticipantHey, Andi, that is investment man! Not everyone can afford it. Most people are skeptical about trading and they want to see first some results before investing in equipment.

ParticipantHello Dommech,
the first good check you need to do with your broker is placing few EAs on demo and the same ones in live just with 0.01. See if they open and close at the same time. If this is true than you can relay on your Demo testing. If not, than there is something wrong with your broker, and you better look for a better one.

ParticipantI like very much the new stats, they talk about the strategies. I think it will take some time to find the best way to read them..
Good to see that EA Studio is being improved so much!

ParticipantHey Petko,
I do to make it all 33% when generating EAs. So 33% are with SL and TP, 33% are without SL and TP, and 33% are with may use option.
Simply I run 3 generators for one asset on one time frame, but with these 3 different options. Works fine so far, and I see that there is good diversification.

ParticipantHey Petko,
when generating EAs with EA Studio, do they get always unique numbers with the Magic numbers? Can it happen that any cryptocurrency expert advisos might have same magic number as ea fx for example?
Petko Aleksandrov
ParticipantHey Jacpin,
it should not be slow at all. Even now there are improvements in EA Studio which made it even faster.
Make sure when you run the Generator/Reactor to run it on separated Tab/Browser.

ParticipantJacpin,
interesting approach about generating the EAs without SL and TP.
One of the good option also is to use May Use.
By the way, the other psot where you have replayed was scam for Options trading, so I had to remove it.

ParticipantThanks for the note, Dommech, I have fixed it.
For Forex I try to keep 10-100 range for the SL and TP. Now, some EAs show better results with bigger values, and I leave them with the bigger numbers.
The best thing to do according to me is to have EAs with SL and TPĀ in your trading portfolio.
The more different strategies, assets, ways of creating the EAs we use, the more diversification we get.
