Thank you for making it clear about the r- squared! It was a mistery for me, and now it is much clearer.
I played with it a lot last night, finally i left few generators working for EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, EUGBP and AUDNZD.
I was so so surprised to see the results in the morning! Fantastic equity lines! 🙂
I shared one of the strategies in the Forum, and i hope the others will test it.
Sure that this feature will improve the EAs a lot, and it will make our choice much easier, because while generating we get EAs with good equity lines, not too much to filter from there.

last night I saw the update from Petko about the r-squared and gave it a try with couple of generators. Surprised in the morning with the results!
The equity lines looked great, and here is a strategy for EURGBP exactly that I have selected from about 15 generated totally:
I have written on the side the parameters, so you can place them in EA Studio and export is as EA if you want to try it of course 🙂

yes, if you want to keep your savings in any currency better use the bank because brokers will always charge you.
The idea in trading is that we exchange and take profits quickly, anyway if holding the positions long time, the swap will eliminate the profits.

I have create a new video about the new criteria in EA Studio, called R – Squared. The video is called:

In this video you will learn what R – squared is, and how useful it is in EA Studio.
R – squared statistically is regression line with many points around:
The value in EA Studio is from 0 to 100. The more points are on the line, the bigger number we have for R – squared.
Zero is when we do not have any points on the regression line, and 100 is when we have all the points on the line. In algorithmic trading this means that we would have only 2 orders, which will form the perfect line. In order to avoid that, we need to combine it with min count of trades.
If we use the R – squared in Search best, we can get strategies with great Equity lines. Specially if we combine it with Out Of Sample:
To be honest, I do not care how it works, the important is that it generates us great strategies 🙂
They are all over the place. There are many in eastern Europe, in Cyprus, Israel(this is their heart), Mexico, India….

I do not think that the Forex brokers will be suitable for what you need. It is better just to exchange the currency in the bank. This way you will not pay swaps, even you find such a broker with 1:1 leverage. Personally I have not heard of one. The brokers want you to trade, so they can benefit the spread and the swap.

does someone knows a broker who allows 1:1 leverage. I have some saved money and just want to change the currency, and keep it in different currency.

I have read that many scam brokers moved to Serbia, do you know something about it? I am from there, and I wonder why the fu.. they come here?
I was looking for such a compact treadmill but couldn’t fine one. Anyway, we went far away from the topic here 🙂
