    Hello Donald,

For the Basic algorithmic trading course, you can find the EAs as attached file in the lecture called How to place the Experts on the Meta Trader for trading. When I make an update, I will attach the updated EAs again there.

The London, NY & Tokyo algo trading course is the only algorithmic trading course where I did not include EAs because of the different time zones. If I create such EAs, they would work only for the same time zone.

For all of the rest algo trading courses, you will find the EAs attached below the videos where I show how to place them on Meta Trader, and when I launch un update, they will appear there.

You can follow all the updates normally at the beginning of each month(1st week): Updates in the courses

    Hey Edu,

when you export the Historical data with the script, just always leave it to 0. It will round it to the first higher rounded number.

This way you will have more skeptical strategies generated with a higher spread, and you will do the actual trading/testing with the lower spread of the broker.

    Hey Japcin,

The function of the trading session works well, I have tested it many times. I think you might be missing something

As Pekto said that tools are general. This means you need to Export the EAs with the changes in tools. For example, if you have ticked the Close at Friday close option, it will not affect the EAs you already exported. You need to re-export them again.

Also, if you have ticked the Close at Friday close the trades will close just before the sessions end with your broker on Friday. Not after Friday.

    Hey Petko,

I took the course immediately, even I think I know Meta Trader, there is always something to learn from you. Plus there are another 3 EAs from you which I want to test.

    Thanks so much!

    Hey Petko,

Your idea is just great. I am getting on work to start building such a table.

You are right that it will save me time just because of generating strategies for the same currency pairs will be easier.

With the time I will just make the acceptance criteria stricter.

    Hey Andi,

this is exactly what I am planning to do. I think jacpin said the same. Just generate with not so much strict criteria and then make it strict from the filters in the collection.

Petko is doing the same in his courses, so I do not know why I lost a couple of days to struggle with that.

    Hello Jacpin,

I get your point. So you just generate strategies with fewer criteria and than you make it strict with the filter in Collections.

Now, I am concentrated a lot on the new feature R – squared and I think I am trying to make my strategies with too good equity lines which is not exactly what I should be doing 🙂

Thanks for sharing this simple system, Stephen. If Petko confirms it is good, I will give it a try on Demo imitating a live account.

    Hey Petko,

I am sure you have placed a lot of effort in your Forex online courses. I can see it while I am watching the lectures.

It is great that you systematically placed so much information is short courses.

No powerpoint slides which I loved the most! All the time you are on the platform demonstrating, which is exactly what the trader needs.

That is the most simple and useful management, Stephen!

As more simple you keep it, as more you will concentrate on generating better and better strategies.

Cheers, guys! Actually, it took me a couple of years to build the Academy the way it is right now.

You are right, with the Forex online courses, I succeeded to share my strategies with over 13 800 students which would have been impossible in 1:1 coaching, or any online groups or room classes.

Also, the technologies are moving so fast, we need always to keep in tune with it. Having Forex online courses is the fastest way to share any updates, Expert Advisors, strategy builders’ improvements etc.

    Hello Maria,

one thing to keep in mind here is that the brokers offer a different number of Historical data bars with different assets.

Have a look at your data, and you will see that for EURUSD you will have more bars that for AUDUSD for example.

This difference could change the performance of the generator when using the same acceptance criteria which is logical.

Now when you get used with the EA Studio and you generate daily strategies you will know what acceptance criteria to place for any asset quickly.

Not a bad idea to make an excel table where you place the currency pairs with the acceptance criteria and the values that worked best the last time.

So when you run a generator for any asset you can have a quick look at it, and see the latest acceptance criteria that you used. It will save you time.

    Hey Thyago,

Andi is correct here, you have a bit more exposure to USD currency. Try to reduce it by adding some more currency pairs without USD instead of removing those that are profitable and you tested already for 65 days. I think this will improve your trading results and will lower the risk with USD exposure.
