Glad to hear you are doing profit with the USDJPY portfolios.
Now, for EURUSD EAs( I guess the ones from my Portfolio course) you placed them on EA Studio and they were losing but on the MT were profiting. If you are using one and the same Historical data there should be no difference. I mean recalculating the EAs on EA studio and testing them on MT with the same data should give you same results as it gives you in USDJPY.
Simply if there is a difference it should be for all assets and not just for one.
Make sure you have the same settings on EA Studio and MT and the same historical data.

I will try that out! So far I am using more EA Studio but I plan to spend more time on FSB Pro in the next months. I want to trade exactly EAs where the other timeframes confirm the trades.

How does the Forex VPS work? Is like a virtual computer where we install the Meta Trader and place the Expert Advisors? What makes it different from using the personal computer?

thanks for sharing your list of assets. It is interesting you trade the gold and the silver. I might have a look at those. However, I do not think I will have enough data…it will take me time to collect it.
I also use M15 , M30 and H1, I saw that Petko uses these a lot.
Hi Roman, I think Jacpin wanted to say that she is trading 14 different assets on live, didn’t she? That is even amazing. I trade above 30 EAs on live but with the major currencies. Still not concentrating on the cross pairs, stocks or commodities.

I am just on the other side. Recently, I run the generator all the time 24/7 on minimum 3 tabs. I run it in the morning before going to work for 600 min. When I am back I filter the strategies and I run it again for another 720 minutes. It takes me no more than 15 min before and after work. During the weekends I spend a bit more time to analyze my results and learn from Petko’s courses and videos.
Petko, I was thinking the same recently, the better the software gets, the more careful we should be. All updates recently made EA Studio amazing and it is even hard sometimes to believe the speed it generates strategies. The optimizer there is lightning. FSB Pro is slower but I see that it works fantastic as well so I keep the round numbers, Monte Carlo optimization and as well I do the trick you taught in some of the courses to change manually few parameters and see if there is a dramatic change.

I have just reviewed the 10 Expert Advisors from the Forex Algorithmic trading course – Top 10 GBPUSD Expert Advisors, and I updated the following EAs:
EA Studio GBPUSD H1 08543554 (EA Studio GBPUSD H1 30924335 for MT5) was replaced with a strategy with name EA Studio GBPUSD H1 76170453(EA Studio GBPUSD H1 76171209 for MT5))
The following two EAs were updated with new parameters:
EA Studio GBPUSD H1 08588181 (EA Studio GBPUSD H1 32060125 for MT5))
EA Studio GBPUSD H1 08648077 (EA Studio GBPUSD H1 32289192 for MT5))
The rest are doing great the recent months.

I just saw the new updates in EA Studio. Actually, the best thing I can see now is that with the lifetime license we get all future updates for free.
Most software needs to be paid again or to buy the new version on a lower price.

I do not watch the calendar anymore as well. I take a look from time to me but I do not think it reflects our trading with the EAs.
When we generate the EAs it includes all the news and events so it is expected they will be robust enough during the news. I prefer as well the Forex because there are not such explosive moves up and now.
