Guys, I can not imagine my trading without EA Studio…I just saw this topic again and I often read what people say in here but the truth is that once you get used with the strategy builder you really can not do it another way. 🙂 I do not see an alternative at all.
Before when trading manually I was so tense in my day and now I am so relaxed, the EAs do it all, I just think new methods how to generate better and better EAs.
I am very glad I met Petko and learned about EA Studio from him.
I believe the trading will get back to normal as the old days where you could trade only 1:1 stocks. I see that many brokers offer now stocks trading. I guess this way the people will lose less.
Sisi, keep in mind that here we know what to do but the mass of people don’t and they lose their account so quickly because of the leverage.
Petko, do you use the same criteria in the Acceptance criteria when you generate the EA and the additional filter in the collection? Does it make sense to filter the EAs in the collection with different criteria or better use the same?

When you generate the EAs you can set up the range for the SL and the TP. r you can choose exact values to use.
Look at the first picture from Petko, you can see min and max in pips. The EA Studio does not give you 80/120 alone, you have set it this way in the first place(maybe you did a huge range and it found the best parameters). For me, these are not bad levels by the way. You make conclusions too quick just from a couple of weeks.
Once again, if you want to use precise levels in SL and TP, you can set it there, and all generated EAs will use those levels.
I love trading with the EAs! I do not care who owns the Bitcoins or who is mining. In 2017 already 70% of the miners were huge companies and it was nearly impossible to mine it. It will get harder and harder. At the same time, we can trade with the EAs without any efforts. 🙂

Is there a way to have the data in FSB Pro automatically? I mean can I set it in a way so I do not need every time to set the symbols and the spread and all?

I have 4 MetaTraders on my desktop and they work fine. I do not see the need for having VPS and spending extra cash on that.

as some of you may know, before I came to the Academy and met Petko, I was scammed really bad.

Petko, if you decide it is not proper to have it here I understand, but I believe it might be useful to many new traders to avoid really the scam brokers. With this topic you have protected many, I am sure about that.
Also, I saw that on this website people can claim for chargebacks from the scam brokers. I hope it works…
Thanks for making this clearer, Andi. So yes, if you select this option when you generate strategies, all exported EAs will close on Friday.
That is actually the better option instead of closing manually EAs that were generated over the complete Historical data.

The EA Studio Data export has nothing to do with the EAs. Simply, it is a script that helps us to export the Historical data. It is not connected to the Experts.
So one time you place it in the Meta Trader it is fine to stay there. Just use it when you wish to get the freshest Data from the broker.
