I’ve been exploring ways to keep myself mentally engaged while focusing on my health and recovery. Aside from reading, journaling, and light creative hobbies, I’ve found that learning new software tools and experimenting with tech can be a fun way to stay sharp.

One example of a tool I’ve been testing as part of a hobby project is Delta Key. I’m not sharing this to promote it — it’s just a personal example of a program I’m using to explore how software works and to challenge myself mentally.

I’m curious how others here incorporate hobbies or digital tools into their routines. Some questions I have:

How do you balance tech or gaming hobbies with recovery goals?
Do certain types of tools or activities help you stay focused and motivated?
Any tips for making hobby time feel restorative rather than distracting?
I thought it would be helpful to start a thread where we can share ideas on hobbies, mental engagement, and balancing interests with health goals.

    Thanks for any insights!
