ParticipantHi Achmidius,
Yes, the EAs will provide different number of trades based upon different brokers historical data. What I suggest is to have demo accounts with different brokers and install the same EAs on each demo account and then wait one month to see which broker provided the best trading results. Then use the best broker to trade EAs.

ParticipantHi Achmidius,
I too am testing the 12 EAs on a demo account. The last entry signal was on Oct 13. So hang in there, a new trade should be taken soon!

ParticipantHi Eugene,
I have contacted Petko about this issue but have not yet heard back from him I don’t have access to the Udemy course so I cannot check myself. I think the links are all the same so you may just need to refresh your browser to see if the link will now show version 4.3.

ParticipantHi Majdi,
Try the following:
Close MT4:
– From File Explorer, right-click on the MT4 terminal file.
– Select Properties.
– Go to the Compatibility menu.
– Click on ‘Change high DPI settings’ near the bottom.
– Check the box in the area that says ‘High DPI scaling override’. ‘Override high DPI scaling behavior.’
– Select ‘System (Enhanced)’ as the response to ‘Scaling performed by:’
– Click OK, then Apply.
– Take a look at the indicator again in MT4, and hopefully this will work.

ParticipantHi Majdi,
You only need the ForexProfitSupreme Meter if you are going to manually trade an FTMO account. If you are going to auto-trade then you can skip down to the auto-trading section. Auto-trading does not require the ForexProfitSupreme Meter.

ParticipantHi Majdi,
I don’t know what else to suggest either. I have tried to simulate your problem but cannot make my PC act like what you are seeing when I install the indicator. When I install the ForexProfitSupremeMeter it works normally as I have shown above in an earlier post. I will contact Petko about this issue and see if he has any other suggestions.

ParticipantHi Gary,
Yes 2147483647 is the normal result. Good to hear it added a couple more days. The EA should work properly!

ParticipantHi Gary,
The amount of history you have will be sufficient. However, if you want to try and increase the historical data try the following:
Click on Tools>Options>Charts
In Max bars in history fill white space with 9’s
In Max bars in chart fill white space with 9’s
Click OK
Now go back to the chart and hold down the HOME key to see if you can get more history.Alan,

ParticipantHi mucho_bucho,
How much history data do you have for M1 and M30? Can you provide a screenshot of the backtester settings?

ParticipantHi Magiangelic,
You do not need to take the course, however, it is recommended to learn how the EAs work, how to adjust its parameters, and how to select the best ones for trading.

ParticipantThe grey screen of death is an issue with your PC and EA Studio. Go to Task Manager>Performance and see how much of your CPU and Memory is being used. You can also try to shut down your PC and restart it. If your PC is a Desktop then you might have to pull the power plug for a few minutes. If a laptop you may need to remove the battery for a few minutes. Google Windows grey screen of death for other suggestions.

ParticipantGood! So maybe there was a reason your broker wouldn’t allow trades to be taken at that time. Maybe wait and see if it will take trades in the future. I would close your computer and restart it and then see if it will start taking trades. There is nothing wrong with the EA and it looks like it is installed correctly so the issue has to be with the broker. Keep me posted!

ParticipantSet “Amount of reduction on close” to 2 lots. This will open an opposite position of 1 lot. It closes the one open position of 1 lot and opens an opposite position of 1 lot. Hence the setting of 2 lots.
