ParticipantHi Ling Pan Ren,
You did everything correctly, just give it more time and you should see some trades develop.

ParticipantHi Nicholas,
Yes, once you are funded you can continue to use the EA. Keep in mind however, there will be periods of profit and periods of drawdowns. Over the long term however the EA should be profitable. As to how long the EA will continue to be profitable over the long term is an unknown. To reduce the risk of the EA turning unprofitable over the longer term Peko updates the EA from time to time. It is then up to you if you want to switch to the updated EAs or continue to use the existing EA.

ParticipantOn Monday 11/13/2023 I will start an FTMO 10K challenge with USDCHF and EURAUD V5.

ParticipantWith V5 Petko added some extra indicators to the EA so now it will take more time for all the indicators to line up and provide a trade signal. While it may take some extra time for trades to happen the quality of the trades should be greater.

ParticipantAs long as you see a smiley face everything is working. I trade the M15 time frame almost all the time with my own robots and sometimes I have to wait a day before I get a trade. So hang in there, the trades are coming!

ParticipantHi Nicholas,
The FTMO EAs for v5 were created using EA Studio and not FSBpro. EA Studio does not provide the panel you are use to seeing only FSBpro does that.

ParticipantHi Ruben,
With FTMO V4.3 for a 10K account where the first 4 lines in the EA properties box is set to 1.0, you should change all 4 to 0.33 lots. This will limit your risk to 1%.

ParticipantHI OxBitpool,
When max spread protection is set to zero it means it is inactive. You can adjust it to an appropriate number of points so that the EA’s will not trade when the spread gets to wide.

ParticipantThe following is the results of testing the FTMO robot V4.1 on an FTMO 14 day free demo account from October 25, 2023 through November, 2023. Account size $10,000. Lot size was 0.3 the recommended lot size for this account size. The gain for this period was +2.92% with a drawdown of 1.96%. If I combine all tests together since early August the results would show a total profit since the beginning of August 2023 of 9.2%.
These tests have shown that since early August the FTMO robot V4.1 has now almost gained the 10% required to pass the FTMO challenge. The purpose of these tests is to show that an EA can be profitable over a period of several months.

As of the first of November I have added this robot to a live FTMO 10K challenge. I will report the results every other week just as I have been doing. The purpose is to continue to show how long an EA can produce profit and to try and pass the FTMO challenge with this V4.1 FTMO EA.

ParticipantHi Dylan,
With respect to AUDNZD or any other asset you should adjust the spread protection appropriately. The idea is to keep an asset from trading when the spread is too wide. Wide spreads reduces potential profit and increases potential loss!

ParticipantYes, check your download folder!

ParticipantMinimum Equity Protection! You can manually adjust this as the account gains profit to limit maximum drawdown.

ParticipantHi OxBitpool,
That is not going to work with the new FTMO EA’s as the SL sizes are different for each EA. Petko is suppose to send out a notice as to how to set the SL for each EA based upon different lot sizes. I haven’t seen that as of yet.

ParticipantFTMO data is now available on EA Studio and goes back to 2015. This makes it easy to backtest Petko’s FTMO EA’s using EA Studio, the best backtestor on the market!
