ParticipantHi Callum,
As an example if you used the FTMO app, chose the 10K account and chose the medium risk and installed the top 3 robots on an FTMO 10K Challenge or a FREE FTMO 10k demo account then you do not need to make any changes.
If you chose the medium risk robots and installed the top3 robots on an FTMO demo account or challenge then the total risk to your account will be 3%. If you want to reduce the risk to your account then you will need to adjust the lot size on each robot.

ParticipantHi Fediox,
I prefer MT4 when trading EAs!

ParticipantHi Joseph,
Make these changes:
Maximum daily loss (currency) 380
Minimum equity (currency) 9420
Maximum equity (currency) 11010Alan,

ParticipantIf you are using MT4 then you can change the magic number. MT5 does not use a magic number. To change the magic number right click on the smiley face, go to expert advisor, and click on properties. Double click on the magic number and you can then change it.
If you are using MT5 then right click on the blue hat, click on properties and you can change some of the parameters. I would suggest just changing the take profit and stop loss slightly.

ParticipantThe Expert Advisors I use in one of my FTMO 50K Challenges where created by me using EA Studio. The EAs were created about one month ago so I decided to update them. Instead of using EA Studio to generate new EAs I decided to tweek the parameters of the current EAs to improve their performance. I did this by using the Walk Forward feature of EA Studio. Once the EAs were tweeked I then verified they were not overoptimized by using the Monte Carlo feature. The result was improved balance lines and backtest stats. I then added the TOP 3 to my 50K Challenge.

ParticipantHi Jotaele1,
Petko also says you can also slightly change some of the indicator parameters.

ParticipantHi Boyan,
I always use the Publisher mode with FXblue, you do not use the investor pw with the publisher mode. Plus with the publisher mode you get faster updates from your MetaTrader terminal.

ParticipantHi Joseph,
With FX2 you will need to make some adjustments to the Expert Advisors parameters.
A trailing stop is a stop the moves higher as the profit moves higher and always stays 6% behind whatever the profit currently is.

ParticipantHI Greg,
With my manual trading I use three simple moving averages the 20, 50, and 200. I also use the Bollinger Bands. I do not use Expert Advisors with my manual trading.

ParticipantHi Boyan,
I do not know if the 5 EAs from the first course get updated they might just be for practice. You would have to contact [email protected] to find out if those EAs get updated.
To create an investor pw you also have to put in your main pw as well.

ParticipantHi Jotaele1,
According to Petko all you need to do is to make the magic number different. Also, I have learned from the FTMO. com support the third party rule does not apply when taking a Challenge or Verification. The only time the third rule applies is with funded accounts.

ParticipantHi Bence,
When you look at the FTMO app and the weekly Expert Advisors the three EAs in the top line are the top 3 picks. I would use these!

ParticipantHi Javier,
Why are the bots not working they are working fine for other traders. There must be a reason why your bots are not working. Can you explain why your bots are not working so I can help you get them working?

ParticipantHi Willard,
Yes just set “Max Equity (currency)” to zero to disable it and double check all other settings are correct for your account size and agrees with the Daily Loss and Max Loss of the funded account.
