ParticipantDoing the Infinity Forex Funds Algo 100K Challenge with the Trade Explorer Bot set on low risk, .2 lots. So far, so good, but I noticed a few things that I’m not sure if I should be concerned about or not. I recognize that it’s a prop firm that I’m dealing with, and they have an interest in the outcome of my trading, which makes things difficult, but that’s what you’re signing up for.
— A number of the prop firms tend to use Eightcap to do the evaluation, and this broker in the Bahamas seems to have historically high slipage and spread markup.
— I know spreads get higher when the market closes and after hours, but I noticed when trading EUR/GBP, the spread on the Eightcap brokerage at closing was 0.11% as opposed to two other brokers–one I have a real money account on and the other I have a demo account on–that were closer to having a 0.05% spread. Eightcap seemed to have A LOT of markup built in.
Is this something I should be concerned about or is this par for the course?

KeymasterHi, I am also about to start a 100k algo challenge with IFF.
Be interested knowing from anybody who has used Eightcap on an IFF challenge and how it went, what issues there were if any.

ParticipantUsing the FTMO EA’s from EAtradingacademy has a setting that keeps the EA from trading during times when spreads are high.

Participanthello,
i recently saw about the ifund.io platform, it is looking very promising and also ea trading academy here has bought a bunch of accounts. the question is if they actually payout. if someone can recommend cause it is expensive i wanna make sure i do inform decision before i hop in. i know for now that for spreads they offer high spreads but no commissions. i wanna use a scalping ea i am not sure if it gonna work. appreciate if someone who use this platform for some time can say his opinion.

ParticipantInfinity Forex Funds is a proprietary trading firm that offers funded trading accounts to traders who successfully meet its evaluation criteria. Like many prop firms, it allows traders to access larger capital without risking substantial personal funds, while sharing a percentage of the profits with the firm.
Before joining any prop firm, traders should carefully review factors such as profit splits, drawdown limits, payout history, trading rules, supported platforms, and customer support quality. It is also important to verify the firm’s reputation through independent reviews and trader experiences.
For those considering Infinity Forex Funds, key questions include:
- How reliable are the payouts?
- Are the trading rules fair and transparent?
- What is the challenge pass rate?
- How responsive is customer support?
- Does the firm have a consistent track record?
I would be interested in hearing from traders who have completed challenges or received payouts from Infinity Forex Funds. Sharing real experiences can help the community make informed decisions. company information search.
