I’ve purchased the 400K challenge from Fintokei, but the PropEA settings only go up to 200K. Does anyone know what I should do in this case? Also, is it possible to use something other than FTMO?

Hey, the EAs trade at the opening of the bar so you should use Open Prices only as the model for the backtest. There might be some slight differences between different brokers but in general it shouldn’t be something significant. We’re using these brokers’ historical data for the strategies development.

No, this doesn’t affect the performance. To show the indicators on the chart, you can enable (set to true) the setting for this from the expert properties.

I noticed on Saturday that the entire top 10 EAs in the Prop Firm list were replaced (I didn’t compare beyond that). That would indicate that all the new EAs are considered better than those available last week.

Could you give some insight into the analysis and selection criteria, please? What determines the best strategies each week?

Hi, did you followed the instructions from the PDF? For the backtest you should use the Open Prices Only modeling as the EAs trade at the opening of the M15 bar. Also be sure that the EAs you’ve downloaded are backtested on the same account size they are preset for, e.g. if you download EAs for $100,000 account, you need to run the backtest on the very same account size.

How do I  make a Prop firm EA trade only one direction? I’ve tried commenting out various bits and compiling but am missing something, it compiles ok but still takes some opposing trades……
