I would like to buy the Prop Firm Robots app. Then install three robots on a MT5 100K Challenge account.
My question is there an installation guide included with the purchase ?
Do I need to make any major changes to the settings?
What does the ZIP file attached to the download contain ?

    Greetings Frank

    Hi Frank,

There is unfortunately no Install Guide included. You Receive the mql source code of the Robot in the ZIP (either for MT4 or MT5).

You will have to Download and install Meta Trader 5 and Open the source Code in the Meta Editor. Then compile it and add it to a Chart in MT5.

A more detailled approach is in this Video (from Minute 8): https://youtu.be/G5nQMVWxpQU?si=nK9b3IVkKljwL3Lq

    Hope that helps!

I also have both BTC robots on my MT5. I think it only takes very high probability trades though. It does not trade frequently so perhaps it has not taken trades because the market has not produced the criteria for the robot to trade.

The BTC/USD Bot Just took 4 Trades in the past month, but all of them were a win. I absolutely prefer less Trades with a Higher win rate 🙂 Just Imagine you would have a 10k account, with 4 Trades in the past month and a Risk to reward Ratio of 1:2, while risking 1%, you would have earned 8% or 800$ in one month!!

You will need to install to Versions of Meta Trader (in different Locations), then you can Open Meta Trader twice and trade two Times the Same Symbol with different bots

    Hello,
Thank you very much for the quick help. I have now installed the EA BTCUSD and USDJPY on my account. However, I still have a few questions…
Do I have to / can I make changes to the settings…
    – I have now changed the entry lots
    – maximum daily loss
    – max open positions

max spread is set to 0 …… do I have to change anything?

    Greetings
    Frank

    Hi Yonatan,

For Mac, please take a look at this article: https://www.metatrader4.com/en/trading-platform/help/userguide/install_mac

If yo haven’t traded with robots on Metatrader before, I’d suggest you enrol in our free 21-Day Algo Trading Program here: https://platform.algotradingspace.com/algo-program/

Alternatively, take a look at these videos:

    Thanks,
    Ilan

    Hi Mourad,

As long as they are 2 different robots and 2 different strategies, then you can open 2 charts on the same MT platform and install 1 EA to each of them.

    Cheers,
    Ilan

    Hey Frank,

The EAs have been created and validated using specific criteria. In addition, prior to downloading them, you select your options – challenge size, risk settings, news filter, etc. Once you’ve done that, the settings are automatically included in the EA and specific to your challenge and risk. I wouldn’t recommend that you change anything, but the source code is included, the properties are open so you can change anything you like. Max spread at 0 means the EA will read the spread info from the broker.

    Thanks,
    Ilan
