ParticipantJudging performance of an EA system that offers multiple pairs/EA that are constantly optimised is virtually impossible. However, if that system is designed for prop challenges, and if one two or more EAs do hit SL 3-4 times in a row, that can be a liability, as unfortunately these challenges all have limitations. Which if taken under consideration, then certain adjustments need to be done both on traders end but maybe also on developers end to try and offer as much protection as possible. In my opinion, if your EAs are losing 1-3 consecutive trades, then you should close the positions manually if the next trade is also going the wrong way for you. Or tighten spread limits and/or amount of trades to take within a day. My selection is not the top performers blindly, it’s max 3 EA pairs, and all of them have to be with less than 5% DD and the balance-equity graph has to be as smooth as possible and the equity never drop or rarely drop significantly below the balance line. Further to that, I alaways half the proposed lots and have all selected pairs with 30 points max spread and only one trade per pair per day, and just add 3-5 minutes before and after high impact news. Don’t touch anything else on the settings not even trade time, I leave it as is. If despite all that the system is still pushing my accounts too strain, then I stop trading altogether. And if i try again and still face issues well maybe I need to change the system. Probabilistic and statistical approach for me at least doesn’t offer much input tbh, as the price will either go up or down. For me the success is best possible entries on best possible TF and best possible account protections. I am still going to lose trades but having that in place would most likely mean I will lose smaller and win bigger. To allow me to increase the lots gradually and pass the challenge.

ParticipantThank you Juan
I have been running the Prop firm EA’s for the last 3 weeks. Certainly is not only 4 – 5 trades that have gone against me.
Mostly losing trades and fairly large drawdowns.
Was merely just checking in to see what other members have to say & if any members have had success passing challenges with these robots and I haven’t seen much about this in the forum. I would certainly share my success with the other members and I am sure they would do the same should they have success.
These robots will take a few months to pass these challenges so I just want to get an idea if I am on the right track.
Not much to ask for surely?

Participanthello, how do I change the currency for the Prop Firm Robots?
May 30, 2024 at 7:30 am #258344kashane cousley
ParticipantWhat’s going on with USDCHF & USDJPY pairs over the pass few days ive noticed that both pairs are saying that they only took 1 trade
but on my live 25K challenge it took multiply trades mots of witch went into huge drawdown or a lost a bug maybe ? IDK
Also i feel like the prop firm robots app needs more update just like the other service like the top 10 robots its has better futures i feel like there could be more added to this just like the others am not the one to really leave comments but i i’ve been a life time member for a long time and i feel like there could be some changes that can make us as a consumer life a bit better thanks for reading.

MemberHey Richard,
We have passed challenges with Prop Firm robots and Petko has also made videos about it. Here you can see one of the videos:
You just need to adjust the settings correctly. But that is not the only thing that will determine if a challenge will be passed or not. It can be the market conditions, the period which you know there are losing and winning periods for the EAs and these are things that you cannot control.
So, what I would say here is just to keep testing the robots, you can also try in demo account and simulate the challenge or in some prop firms, you can have a trial where you can test the robots there as it is like taking a challenge but with no risk at all.
Kind Regards,

Participant@Nikos, thanx for the update as well. It might be even more helpful for the community to share some more results of passed challenges from other team members or students of the academy. Petko’s successful performance is obviously a solid point of reference, but more points like these are needed to be able to verify consistency and make a more constructive chat on settings and ideas.

ParticipantHello,
I have connected one of the propfirm EA to two different brokers and one triggers and the other does not.
Can you tell me why I don’t have the same trades with the same EA?May 30, 2024 at 6:06 pm #258503Konstantinos Borsis
ParticipantHas anyone had TP hit on any pair EA of the Prop Firm Robots in the past 14 days at all? If so can you please share result and/or settings and which pair and TF you used?
May 30, 2024 at 6:09 pm #258507Richard Lawrie
ParticipantI have not hit TP on any of the pairs.
Have been running them for quite some time now.The pairs I am currently running are really struggling and going into some deep drawdown.
Even on lower risk settings.May 30, 2024 at 6:09 pm #258508Konstantinos Borsis

ParticipantI am running them a bit over a month, month and half, and had 2 incidents where they got about 50% or 75% to TP but never had a TP hit tbh. I have tried both Y1 and M1, usually not more than 6 pairs, most of the times 3-4, only those with DD lower than 5% (now trying M1 with DD lower than 2%), 1% medium risk and and have spread limit as well high impact news and always keep an eye on them so i believe i havent missed any trades. So far no TP hit.
