How has that been going for you? In profit overall by switching?

Only did it for last two weeks but no losses so far, but then again FTMO demo acc only lasts for 2 weeks so I had to open a new one for this week. I am getting more confident to take it towards the challenge.

The thing that I am really stubborn about that I want to try passing the challenge with the default settings of EAs without scaling up in settings.

Is your trade is still opened for USDCAD ? Mine is still opened for a $10k challenge , it went all the way up to $100 in profit and this morning down back to $50. Looks as if it will take a while to close one trade. With this speed, I need to forecast that how long before one can pass the 1st phase of challenge ?

Hi Sammy,

Yes I am still in.  Backtest over the last month shows USDCAD placing 10 trades.  So on average one trade every other day.  This could indicate the current trade should close within the next day.

Today FTMO V6.0 50K Challenge had USDCAD close for a 1% profit.  The trade took 24 hours from start to finish.  I have  open trades (GBPAUD,USDCAD) equating to 0.5% profit.  My account risk is 1%.

Today My Infinityforexfund 100K Evaluation using FTMO V6.0 robots had USDCAD close for a 0.93% profit.  The trade took 24 hours from start to finish.  I have  open trades (GBPAUD,USDCAD) equating to 0.28% profit.  My account risk is 1%.

Let’s say I bought the six months ftmo update plan, would I still be able to access the ftmo app to see the and download the top performing EA’s?

Clear you computer cashe and log back into your account and see if you see the FTMO robot app.   If not then comtact [email protected].

Hi, robots are updated each month, so should we delete to the previous months robot when updating?

Hi Nake,

The choice is yours when it comes to deleting all old robots and installing new.

One strategy would be to remove all old robots and install the new ones. Another strategy would be to keep the top performing robot and just install the top 2 new robots. And, another would be to keep the top 2 robots and install just the top 1 new robot. A final strategy would be to replace all robots with new ones.

So which strategy is best? You could open 4 demo accounts and test each strategy to determine strategy that works best for you.

As a new trader you might just remove all the old robots and replace with the new ones.
