ParticipantHello Agresh,
Are you testing just one robot on a demo account, or how many?

ParticipantDear Agresh,
Each robot has a unique magic number that helps track its performance. So in order to be able to assist you better, could you please advise the magic number of the robot that you are testing? Also, please keep in mind that the performance of the robots could be affected by the brokers conditions. For better performance, we recommend to choose a broker from our trusted brokers list.

ParticipantHello Agresh,
I’ll also put that EA on demo account now and let you know in few days how it’s been. It might that you are not doing anything wrong, just the market conditions are not favorable. That’s why we test on demo accounts first, to see if with current settings, the robot will perform well in the present market conditions.
Cheers.

ParticipantThis thread is basically every trader’s first lesson: even a robot can’t guarantee profits
Agresh thought something was wrong because his gold trading bot kept losing on a demo account. But the reply was pretty reassuring — sometimes the strategy is fine, and the market conditions are just terrible for that particular setup.
That’s exactly why demo trading exists. It’s much better to discover a losing streak with virtual money than with your real savings. Sometimes the market changes, sometimes the broker matters, and sometimes the robot just needs a better environment to perform.
Moral of the story: if your demo account is losing, don’t panic — it’s doing its job by teaching you before real money is on the line.

ParticipantMaking losses on a demo account can actually be a valuable learning experience because it helps you identify mistakes without financial risk. Just like trading requires practice, analysis, and continuous learning, students often benefit from assignment help when tackling challenging subjects. Seeking guidance and learning from errors can improve both trading strategies and academic performance over time.
