FTMO Robot: V4.3: What’s new?

The settings are correct and you should see trades when they develop.  On my FTMO demo account I just got a new trade about 3 hours ago.

It looks like the FTMO Robot was updated yesterday. Can you tell me if there is anything different from V4 that I received last week?

I’m currently testing this with 2 different 2-week FTMO challenge accounts and a HankoTrade one. One FTMO is using the recommended settings and I have adjusted the other one.

I’ve noticed that both trades today were executed at the exact same time.

Can you add a customizable option to this EA that will delay the execution time if we choose to? Example: 1-sec delay, 2 sec, 3 sec, 7 sec…and so on. This could help reduce the number of trades being triggered at the exact same with the same broker and reduce the chances of running into problems in the future as this becomes more popular.

I initially thought the “Bar Closing Advance [sec]’ did that but it had no effect.

I’ve been running the EA since Sunday night on an FTMO MT4 terminal and haven’t had a trade yet. Any reason you would get one and I didn’t ?

 

Is there an update since I downloaded on the 4th of Aug ?

I had this log in my expert tab while it seems your trade was on.

This error message means your terminal is trying to execute more than one trade at the same time.  Do you have other EA’s running on the same terminal for EURUSD?  If not, then I would close the terminal and reopen it and try again.

My MT5 terminal gives me this error when I try backtest the EA.

How much historical data do you have?

Does anyone have reliable backtest results for the EA before 2023? My results before 2023 are not good, but I’m not sure if it’s the EA, my data, or MT4 backtesting inaccuracy, or something else. Thank you!
