ParticipantHi Soeren,
As long as you are only going to trade one EA then the 3 lots for a 100K account is the recommended lot size as it limits your risk to 1%. If you are only going to trade one EA on a 200K account then the recommended lot size is 6 lots as this limits the risk to 1%. However, if you are going to trade more than on EA in the same account then you need to divide the 3 lots or the 6 lots between all the EA’s you plan to trade. This way if they all hit the SL then the account will only lose 1%. The idea is to limit the risk to the account to 1% and not each EA. While limiting the account to a risk of 1% you can always limit the account risk to a lower amount.

ParticipantDid you just set it up now? If so, the markets are closed for the weekend and it’s normal to see this spread level.

Participantno, it’s still like that on some currency pairs.

ParticipantHi guidb3629,
You will need to increase the Spread Level. I recommend identifying the spread during the first couple of hours after the market opens for the day and using this spread level or slightly less so the EA will not take trades when the spread is high. High spreads has the potential of limiting profits and increasing losses.

KeymasterBefore everything was ok, but since 9 or 10 November, the EA version 4.3 open some trades without SL. Attached file is an example, any help?

ParticipantHi Joko,
Sounds like a problem with Metatrader. Try to enter the SL manually and see if Metatrader will accept it.

KeymasterYes, it accepted it when I put manually, but of course we need the automatic one.

ParticipantI haven’t seen this issue before. Have you tried to close MetaTrader and restart it. Have you removed the robot and reloaded it.
